Fifth Grade Explorer Puppet Show

This is a little reminder that although we’d love to be able to accommodate everyone, the Fifth Grade Puppet Show only has space for the parents and grand-parents of fifth grade students.

The BACS 8th Grade Presents…

HEART OF ICE

 

When a young princess’s heart is stolen right out of her by a ruthless witch, the Kingdom of Nador falls into twenty years of despair. After all this time, can a long-awaited hero, a wise-cracking enchanter, and a loyal “puppy” set the heart of the princess free? Come find out Tuesday, February 26th and Thursday, February 28th at 7:30pm at Heilman Hall. Show is free – donations suggested and welcomed at the door.

 

Refreshments will be sold during intermission.

New Church Education:

Education with a higher-powered purpose

 

The purpose of our educational system is to produce:

· People who have strong intellectual powers of discernment...to develop and use their God-given ability to differentiate right from wrong and so become excellent stewards of the talents given them by the Lord.

· People who understand the power of spiritual, heavenly truth and can use it to become vessels for good and for positive, useful service to humankind.

· People who are equipped with the mental and physical power to set and accomplish high goals for themselves and ultimately for the common good.

· People who desire the life of heaven where mutual love, charity and peace prevail.

· Finally, New Church education is for people who recognize that all power is from the Divine and only comes to those who acknowledge that we labor in vain if the Lord does not build the house which is our mind.

 

With this purpose in mind, the Bryn Athyn Church School seeks to bring together families to achieve these powerful ends for themselves, for their children and for the world we live in.  The Bryn Athyn Church offers a congregational school and society life designed to stir a conviction for living according to the loving principles in the Lord’s Word.  For this is the narrow way that He tells us leads all people to experience genuine life and true happiness.                                                            PBS

Teacher Leaving

 

Jody Hyatt will be leaving BACS at the end of this year to pursue exciting graduate work in education.  Jody has been with us for 11 great years now and will be sorely missed for her unrelenting pursuit of high educational standards. We wish Jody well.
